Easier Said Then Done, Half These Niggas Talentless…….

That “hard work beats talent” cliché aint true in music. Work all you want, if you garbage, no amount of practice gonna make u better. Talent is why the music business exists. Always exceptions to the rule though. Hard work AND talent…. Got shit on lock.

    • Sevenwinters6summers

Really? Then why are “talentless” artists in the music industry. What you mean is all you need is a little work, and a good beat.

      • Allisinall

It depends on what your looking to do. If you want attention or sell out but if your serious you NEED talent. 80% of rappers from 2003-2013 that had hits are broke now literally driving ubers or hustling making nothing. Europeans are the ones signing these retards for retards who will pay for they bullshit. You need talant to last past all the shiny things and ignorant behavior to distract you from the truth and then they fade away. anyone can get signed if your willing to sell out it’s harder to get on if you have talent.

      Explain 21 savage

  • ben

Of course he’s right. Both music as a whole and whats trendy are constantly changing, at some point what is mainstream will demand more substance than the elementary garbage that is popular now.

  • imaginationsequation

I think the fact me mentioned drake is the only reason this article was even. posted. Bars n lyrics ain’t coming back, not to the mainstream

    • Rafael Worldstar Wetback Navar

Probably true, and sadly very true Bars will always be underground now which is cool because Inever listen to the radio or watch music videos on tv anyway

  • realtalk

Only reason Cole, Kendrick and drake get so much credit cause they’re in a generation with madd trash artist who sound the same. Them artist is ok and drake fell off. Put them 3 in the era when Wayne was in his prime , fab , jay z and add Pac n biggie guarantee nobody would say they the best nor give that much credit

    • djayjb09

Bruh I have to disagree. Just because they are in a different generation doesn’t mean they can’t be considered great like the ones you named.

      • realtalk

There aren’t any more decent artist like them 3 in this generation , full of trash lmao

    • Myleage

Kendrick would. ppl been out who are lyricist like Talib Kweli but Kendrick is lyrical and he makes bangers too so he could survive in ANY era. Cole too. I think Drake could if he did music like Ja Rule used to

      • realtalk

No one was talking about talib when biggie n Pac was doing it. Then jay & Wayne, NWA take your pick, still no mention of him. Kendrick does not make bangers lol he’s like Cole who can only make storytelling/lyrical tracks without punchlines lol. Their albums are boring. They would not survive they would’ve been like talib, where he at now?? Exactly lol. And drake is already fallin ever since take care

        • Myleage

Swimming Pools and Maad City were banger with Punchlines. Cole have several bangers. They are both lyrical and have punchlines. IDK what you’re smoking, but save it for the weekend

          • realtalk

Naw lol I ain’t hear no punchlines , just rapping. Cole has no club bangers or hype tracks just story telling and rapping. That’s boring , in order to be the best rapper you gotta know how to make any kinda track like jay did , Wayne, fab , biggie, Pac , t.i etc.

          • Myleage

Listen, I understand where you’re coming from. when Cole, Drake, and Kendrick first came out I thought they were cool but they didnt have that bumping bass, 12 inch speakers in the back beating down the block type music and that was my biggest problem with them, but since then, they got better. now Cole’s newest ish is weak sauce, but Kendrick can be lyrical and bangers. DNA and Humble are bangers worthy of the Fab, T.I., and Jay era. I liked Pac, Jay, etc. because they can make street songs, lady ballads, club songs, storytelling, etc. I think Kendrick does too. Maad City, Poetic Justice, Alright, The Spiteful Chant, and Money Trees and plus all of his freestyles like his 6’7 freestyle were all bangers to me. Schoolboy Q, Kendrick, Asap Rocky, and Big Sean are among my current new favorite artists

          • realtalk

Those are not club bangers nor hype tracks lol they’re still lyrical. And u missed when I said Kendrick and Cole can freestyle but point still remains , they can’t make club tracks lol.

          • William Wesley

Bro that loyalty with rihanna is a certified banger can’t even lie in the club right now.

    • Poopmaster

Lol drake is not I. That same convo. He a pop artist. ….. who steals culture. He a Canadian.

    • LoveBoat2smooth

Dawg Kendrick a genius he would had been big in any era. Cole maybe. Drake might as well be Taylor swift.

  • Zero

    It’s like you ignored the:
“I mean, we watch Drake just become greater and greater. We watch that happen, even Kendrick”

    • SlimJuve25

but he never mention drake an mc in the same sentence, he did knowledge drake for having “powerful bars, great lyrics”, but he put the words balance an MC by kendrick an cole cause they write theirs, drake got credit but all the credit you think he did, “greater and greater” while kendrick become a better MC because he cared about being that

      • Zero

“but he never mention drake an mc in the same sentence”

It didn’t need to be in the same sentence. Reread what he said before and after the Drake mention. Then read the whole thing again. That’s your homework for tonight.

        • SlimJuve25

keep reaching to put mc next to drake name cause rza clearly didn’t, he use drake as an example like future but gave him more credit cause of the numbers . . he said greater and greater thats it then someones name then mc an you think the entire thing applys to drake smh

          • Zero

Aaaaand you get a F. I wouldn’t mind educating you on why he also thinks Drake’s a great MC (which would require a couple sentences) but then you’d probably say “I’m not reading all that”.

Reading comprehension would tell you he also thinks Dake’s a great MC. You must not have been good in English class my dude.

    • Rafael Worldstar Wetback Navar

Naw I didn’t ignore it but he also didn’t call him an MC so yeah he’s just acknowledging that this faggot is doing his poprap thing

  • youknow

cause he’s not. doesn’t mean he aint great

    • Poopmaster

      Lol, How old are you?

  • Poopmaster

    Cuz he ain’t.
