Lil Wayne Has Seemingly Responded To T.I.’s Harsh Criticism

  • Wow. And he said he’s a gang banger. The reason this is sad to me because he can be so much more for the black youth. He’s a man, he’s successful, he has resources. If he could get off drugs he could see he can be so much more. But its only woman, money and drugs he can only see.

    • Brock Thunder

That’s all what he WANTS to see

    • Haze

Lil Wayne is the Black version of Charlie Sheen lol

    • Je’sus

This dude does have that thanksgiving drive every year in NO and funds for that happen to that city after Katrina.

      • What!!

thanks giving drives? turkeys aint stopping any bullets you dudes say super dumb shit smh.

        • Je’sus

I’m saying he may seem like he only cares for himself.

          • Kamen

That’s not “seem”, he has told you he only cares about himself.

    • KawantA

He is who he is and we have no right saying “he’s a role model so he should do this” that’s fuck boi shit. Don’t tell another man what he should do with his fame and fortune, you go out and get some so you can do it instead of pushing your agenda on others

      • XLR8

What comes with fame, fortune and being a celebrity is being positively influential, if all he wants is women, drugs and alcohol he didn’t have to put himself in the limelight. That’s a responsibility all who put themselves in front of camera’s have, they shouldn’t want to negatively impact the country. Now he can have all that stuff in the privacy of his own zone but once you are in front of the public, be more positive and mindful. Snoop Dogg and The Game are way more of role models than Lil Wayne, you know how much mentoring for the youth and overall charity work that they do?

        • youknow

No, what comes with fame and fortune is being influential (period). He has the right to use his fame positively or negatively and none of us have a say in that. And really? Snoop and Game are role models? Gtfoh, it doesn’t matter how much mentoring and charity work they do because that shit doesn’t matter. What matters is their lifestyles, that’s the only thing that the youth look up to. Snoop and Game, and every other so-called role model, talk the talk but can’t walk the walk.

          • Supreme Trunks

You do know the point of bng a role model isn’t necessarily doing something it’s being a person people admire and look up to. Obviously they are saying if he CHOSE to be a role model look at what he could do. Not trying to force him to do it.

        • DEZn00ts_1

Downvote. That is NOT true when you are a FREE person. Stop making people something they aren’t. I bet people thought Hitlet was a positive influence too.

          • Kamen

Every Man isn’t meant to be a Role Model or an Influence. Some Men are just that, Humans with a Penis. This Human with Penis happens to have Fame, but not much in the way of being Socially aware. Its ok, its up to us to destroy him and never let him return to “Home”.

          • DEZn00ts_1

I Agree with the first two sentences.

          • XLR8

Man if you are going to come with a comparison at least stay on the same track as a musician or entertainer overall. That is a really weird comparison to use Hitler, like I’m not even sure where to go from there.

I’m not getting most of you guy’s mindset, the black community is not in a position where we should be okay with anyone being blind & deaf to the issues we face. Wayne doesn’t have to be a frontline representative of the black community but he shouldn’t just ignore everything that happening either. All TI is basically asking him for is just to educate himself on the matter and support a cause that’s for the better of him & his family.

      • RDLT

Well he said in his interview with Katie Couric that he wasnt a role model nor was he interested in being one , so u cant expect him to be slmething he never sought out to be

  • Giavonni

Lil Wayne dumb as hell, T.I.P is right get off that uncle Tom ass bullshit and get knowledge on ya mind about your culture and race. This dumb ass nigga gone say basically I ain’t never experienced racism, dumb ass nigga you ain’t gotta go through racism to understand and get knowledge of your own race. It’s sad cause he’s jus one ignorant, dumb ass nigga that don’t participate or don’t wanna understand his own race. Lil Wayne Wheezy F the fuccery and dumb as hell.

    • MysteriousMystery

Just because he got a different opinion you gonna hate? That’s some fuckery right there. You act like he don’t like himself or his family. You the crazy one.

      • TiredofBullshitbeingCalledRAP

racism is believing your race is superior above the rest only people these cops think is superior is other cops, racism isn’t the issue, too much power placed in the hands of civil servants meant to serve us not kill us all is the problem.

      • Giavonni

Nigga first of all yea you right I’m crazy as fucc and don’t give no fucc about how I hurt your feelings. Nigga ain’t nobody hating on shit the nigga don’t put money my poccetsor pay my bills. And I didn’t think my opinion should’ve even matter to you. I didn’t say nothing about liking himself. Of I’m a real friend I would’ve did the same shit T.I. did, hell what the fucc is the difference? Wayne the one put his self out there on national television about BLM and made his self look dumb. Now if my friend did some shit like hell yea I would tell them about they self on national television or behind close it don’t matter.

  • Dingus

Lil Wayne is doing more to help the black community by denying the legitimacy of BLM than TI could ever dream of. If there were a movement with the same passion and media coverage as BLM protesting against gang culture, teenage pregnancies, and drug/alcohol abuse the black community would be doing astronomically better. It’s kind of difficult to improve yourself when you’re being told you can’t succeed due to an intangible “oppressive system” rather than facing actual issues that you have control over.

    • Askia ‘Ski’ Ahmad Smith

You lost all cred when you put “oppressive system” in quotes…clown

      • Dingus

You are twenty years late to the oppressive system party my friend

    • XLR8

Wait… So are you blaming the lack of success rate for the black community on focusing too much on a system of oppression or these “actual issues that you have control over”?

Other than this, the flaw in your statement about having a movement with the same media coverage as BLM to represent the entire struggle of the black community is the cause & effect. The only reason BLM is getting any recognition is because of the pure outrage of the cops killing civilians that’s pushing their agenda. Without cops questionably killing so many unarmed black suspects during something as small as a traffic stop or police questionings then BLM wouldn’t be so forefront in the public. Schools in Black communities usually take care of the issues of lowering teen pregnancy rate, generations of gangs and drug/alcohol abuse by taking hand in the youth’s development. I’m not sure if you remember but school use to have this program called DARE (Drug.Abuse.Resistance.Education) who I would say is bigger than BLM.

      • Dingus

My point is that if we want to raise up black communities we need to stop turning mole hills into mountains and mountains into mole hills. The mole hills in this case being “oppression” by the police, and the mountains being gangs, drugs, and irresponsible sex.

        • Really?

Man you speaking to people who think every Onne in america color blind, they say the trillon dooollar deficit will affect or great, great, great grand kids and they believe it but still don’t think slavery affect us now

        • Supreme Trunks

Yeah but those protests exist. You can look it up and even join one. I live in Richmond and I went to the park with my girl and found out (accidentally) there was a peace protest/concert going on at the park. The reason these things don’t get displayed on national tv isn’t because of lack of effort by blacks. Media controls what we see. Plain and simple. You only know about things you care about. Gang, drugs and sex is literally taught throughout the community in churches, schools, other adults etc. The problem is choices and humans make choices. Cops on the other hand are PAID PUBLIC SERVANTS who have a duty to protect citizens. How ludicrous is it I pay for someone to shoot me in the street because she/he’s too scared to be in my area? You HAVE to hold people accountable. When mayors fuck up do we broadcast that on TV? yup. Presidents? YUP Judges? YOU BET. but cops should do whatever they want? Please tell me the rationale in that

          • Dingus

I agree it is absurd. But it is as Lil Wayne stated, it’s not a black vs. white issue. Putting the name “Black Lives Matter” on it is ridiculous. It is a police unnecessarily shooting a human being issue, a police training issue. The race baiting isn’t needed here and in the end it’s a very small percentage of the police force who can’t handle these situations properly.

          • Supreme Trunks

I agree with you to a point. keep in mind when the black lives matter movement came about was after trayvon martin died. The movement only centered around black because police brutality has happened too many times in our community. Look at the 90’s and almost every year prior. So black people said enough is enough; Black lives matter just as much as a police man/ white man/ or any man. If other races are tired of police brutality they should make a movement like police against Indians, or Police against Russians, etc. You can’t be mad at a group for making a movement that they feel is important. When I was in DC last year, I saw groups of different races protesting different things that are affecting them. It doesn’t make it less important. You fight for what YOU believe in. So if you want to make a movement protest for Police brutality against everyone called “Dirty shield movement” or something people will get behind it. I’ll sign up real quick

    • Really?

Actually fact your dumb azz believe we are all gang bangers on drugs, pregnant when 1.7 million blacks are locked up and 33 to 35 million blacks in america. You do the math u fox news loving fuzker smh

      • Dingus

Let me guess, none of them did anything to deserve being in jail right? It’s all someone else’s fault right? Blacks need to man up and take responsibility for their actions.

  • Konfuzed

You guys act like he’s not aware of what’s going smh. I’ll just drop this here
“Stay out them streets cause they don’t fuck with us, they hunting us
We in a race against racists, that’s a color run”

  • Anthony

I actually respect Wayne a lil more now. Not laying down under the pressure to conform to Hollywood’s census of the world. Standing up for his right to have an opinion, in an age of having to be politically correct and toe the line, especially in Hollywood that is notoriously liberal and full of contradictions. Hopefully none of you are getting your world view from people like Lil Wayne or Hollywood for that matter.

  • Ye’

Wayne will go down in books tip will never

  • Shmoneyboi

t.i is an idiot. just cuz someone like wayne doesn’t agree with him on the blm movement, t.i has to start this drama? what a douche. there are many blacks who dont support blm movement…and they’re right

    • TiredofBullshitbeingCalledRAP

it’s also funny everyone saying the cop shit is a racist thing when these cops could give a shit less if you white black hispanic or asian, if you’re not a cop your life in their eyes doesn’t matter so unless Police became a race, racism isn’t the issue, racism is believing your race is superior and others inferior cops believe cops are superior and the rest of us are inferior which is the problem not racism, which is why ti is a dumb fuck and blm is bullshit.

      • Supreme Trunks

You say cops don’t care about race but Blacks and cops have been on opposite sides since the beginning. Cops have been targeting blacks for so long that it’s generally a part of growing up that parents have to warn you about cops. Never met a white kid ( young) to be afraid of cops.Who was sicking dogs on who? Who was spraying hoses on who? Who was beating on who? Rodney King? Tamir Rice? And if you say it’s black propaganda which I got a feeling you are, how can an entire race of people make shit up for no reason? You think the race as a whole WANT to be scared? I wish I could tell a young black kid to act a fool and have fun and not worry about getting killed. Honestly homie Idc trying to prove it to you. You got your stance but one thing you can’t disagree with is police brutality is very real. If you can’t fight for “black” lives then fight for lives in general.

        • TiredofBullshitbeingCalledRAP

But its also been black cops targeting blacks as well as every other nationality for that person not living up to their standard of a model citizen which is no longer defined by race with them but by wealth or lack of, and demeanor of the individual, the people who attacked cops in Dallas were attacking a black led police force, its been black cops flying the police lives matter slogans with white cops which kind of shits on the racist thing again racism is believing your superior these cops dont think their better because they’re white they think there God because of that badge and view every one of every nationality with that badge as a brother or sister in arms which again kinda shits on the racist aspect, I never once said it was propaganda at 14 I had a black court worker tell me “Oh well you’re an ignorant ass teenager from the ghetto, he’s a cop, he’ll win and everyone will believe anything he says over you, so take the punishment deal with it and move on and I suggest not crossing a cops path again” So I been saying this shit for over 14 years now but guess what there buddy, I’m white as shit and I’ve dealt with it my entire life still to this day I know oppression and harassment better than given credit by this movement and thats my problem black lives matter I agree but sorry this aint the 60s its no longer just blacks I can pull up many other races who have been killed as well as look at Standing Rock, we all out here dying, being beaten, jailed for nothing, I’ve been in an out the system since 14, if I call for emergency assistance I get questioned about criminal activity and have even been searched and that was calling for an ambulance as my son has medical conditions or to have a cop come write a report for me being in a wreck (stone cold sober, not high, not drunk, not being belligerent) but because I appear broke, I appear ghetto, I appear less of a person so I have to be up to something, this is why I call BLM bullshit, I do believe Police brutality should be addressed and corrected but BLM is hindering that not helping it bring people to justice.

          • Supreme Trunks

Well just like you said, racism is believing one race is superior to others. There are black people who believe White people are inherently better. And to further prove that point some are willing to do overt and violent actions in order to “keep em in their lane”. I am not saying that police brutality is all about racism. What I am saying is racism is a part of police brutality. Studies show that cops tend to look at blacks as more violent and older than what they actually are. So many cops feel it is necessary to use extra force when it’s not needed. However you’re correct though. Races all over face injustice but the purpose of BLM is not a blanket movement against police brutality. It is a movement, formed by black people tired of the mistreatment of black people. The point of it is to call attention to a problem just like domestic violence against women. Are there men who get beaten by their partners? Absolutely. I actually have a buddy from college whose girlfriend beat him because he got a message on FB from an ex. Still even with that, if all the battered men came out and told the media to stop focusing on the domestic violence towards women and say ” WE ALL GET BEATEN” no one would focus on the issue. My point is this homie. If something you think unjust is happening, speak up. You want to save the trees, go plant them. Don’t let anyone diminish your movement by saying ” ITS NOT JUST TREES. SAVE THE PLANET”.

    • XLR8

It seems like you don’t understand Wayne’s original stance on BLM. I’ll break it down for ya, Wayne’s opinion on BLM sounded as if he didn’t care about what was going on and he was writing it off because he’s quote “a rich black man”. He doesn’t have to agree with TI but he has to have a better reason than “I’m a rich rapper, who gets bitches and have fans in America” if he’s going to disregard BLM.

Not only this, Wayne screwed himself when he claimed “Black Lives Matter” during one of his concerts and now backtracking. He later apologized for his comments, now I think he’s back on the side of BLM.

      • Worldwide Intentionz

Pssshh back on the side of BLM? smh
