Justice ain’t make the beat a person he hired made the beat. Chance is paying that person that the person if you didn’t understand.

    • Ro’bins

And you’re a dumbass nigga. Brasstracks made the beat and he tweeted Chance pays his producers. For people to be so stupid in believing Chance not paying his producers, but giving 1 million dollars to public education is indeed specially stupid….

  • Lord_Farquad

Soooooooooooo, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League has some doodes signed to them that co-produced “Cocoa Butter Kisses”, but according to Chance, they signed a bad deal with J.L. (apparently one wherein they’re being financially taken advantage of), and because J.L. signed them to that bad deal, Chance paid those two guys instead of J.L.?

    Did I get that right?

The type of nigga logic that holds up in the street…but gets shitted on in a court of law.

    • Myleage

you got to realize…a lot of big “producers” have ghost producers. Dr. Dre used a lot. Scott Storch was a ghost producer and sometimes a ghost collaborator before he started having named credits

      • Robert Montero

It isn’t necessarily that they had “ghost producers”, it’s that people misunderstand what a “producer” is/does. A beat maker is not the same as a producer. The production credit doesn’t necessarily mean they made the beat. Production credit relates to revenue split and ownership. If you’re not listed and credited then you’re not getting paid directly from the royalty collecting societies. That goes for JL and their situation.

        • Myleage

very true. it is definitely deeper than many think

This is a half ass story, it’s not over cocoa butter kisses. Go to hiphopdx for a better written story. This site is trash lol

      • Ro’bins

Yeah it’s about No Problem and Brasstracks just tweeted Chance pays his producers. So what is JL babbling about because Brasstracks the ones who produced the track. I guess they didn’t put the lawsuit in, because they don’t mention JL lame ass at all…..

        • imaginationsequation

Jl said they not being sued by anyone rite now, so even though nothing will change, it still a bad look on chance part

          • Ro’bins

Can’t be a bad look on Chance If Brasstracks just stated on twitter he got paid for No Problem because he is the one who produced it……

          • imaginationsequation

Brasstracks is a duo but if they were W justice league, then chance pretty much undercut a deal. Still nothing will come of this

  • HotlineQueef

1st thing i noticed is that they werent on ross new shit at all and didnt produce the new maybach music 5 so i figured something was going on

  • Ro’bins

Kind off odd JL how Brasstracks tweeted “Chance pays his producers”, but for somehow he doesn’t mention your ass at all.

  • U Kn0w What 1t 1s

Justice League are the Joe Buddens of the producer world… they feel like they are owed by everyone in the industry…
