  • That track would’ve been better without the Tiller beat.

    • Herbz 4 Breakfast

Funny because Exchange by Bryson Tiller was never a top 10 song. It was good but it wasn’t top 10. Many people still don’t know who Bryson Tiller is, everybody know J. Cole

      • Chris

Maybe you live under a rock both Bryson Tiller’s singles Don’t, Sorry Not Sorry and Exchange played non stop on urban radio this year. A LOT of people know who Bryson Tiller is.

        • Herbz 4 Breakfast

          True or False:
“Exchange” debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 98 for the chart dated November 14, 2015, and has since peaked at number 26, becoming Tiller’s second top 40 hit. His album went platinum by new standards. But he’s still not more popular than J. Cole. Y’all tripping. The irony. I’m sitting here watching Vice Principals on HBO and J. Cole started playing while I scrolled through the retardation you refer to as comments. I swear, I can’t stand the skinny jeans wearing generation. All y’all wanna do is dance and fall in love with thots. So give me all of you in exchange for me faced mother fuckers

          • Chris

You wrote all of that, misinterpreting and assuming from my comment. I never said Bryson was more popular than J.Cole, I simply said a lot of people know who he is. I bet you feel like a jerk lol.

      • Poopmaster

Dude Bryson tiller’s album was prolly in my top three of the year Forsure…super underrated

    • Myleage

i thought the same thing but it turns out J Cole made that song BEFORE Tiller did and 40 and whoever else produced Cole’s track let Tiller’s producer hear it and Tiller’s producer “stole” it and gave it to Tiller

    • Spookeysmoker

You mean tiller has his beat cole song old af

  • poppy magooo

    This album was ehhh

  • not really a fan of dude, but you gotta respect how well he does sales wise

  • Myleage

out of all his singles? THIS gave him a top 20? Eehhh?!

  • wilMaster04

    yawn..

  • wilMaster04

mr nice watch, power trip, work out, no bodys perfect, crooked smile…you mean none of these songs has been a top 10?

    • Lol shoe

Surprises me also. I thought She knows would have at least made top 10..

1.warm up & Friday night lights combined
    2. Forest hills drive
    3.any given Sunday ep’s
    4.truly yours ep’s
    5. For your eyes only
This is my order of fav’s by j. Cole…I heard both warm up and Friday night lights in times where I needed really good come up motivational music …..I also really dig “the Therapist” tape he dropped to way back in the beginning

    • Jay Free

i still bump the any given sunday ep’s daily, like a star is so good.

but you didn’t like born sinner or the come up? i can’t believe you didn’t put one of them in that #4 slot.

      • Poopmaster

Believe me I really dig born sinner big time and the come up, i re-listened to them the other day…well I went on the whole j. Cole binge but “crunch time” is honestly one of my favorite tracks by him it speaks a lot to me so that song alone is the reason I put truly yours in number 4 …it was tough though I mean the come up was like his first intro it was hot but damn “the warm up” that’s when he dropped “lights please”

      • Poopmaster

i member when the any given Sunday’s dropped I was super stoked the guys has a really good ear for sound I know people might think he to nice and a lil corny but he my fav MC right now by miles….mainly because of the stories he tells I relate to a lot of his perception on life …

    • Spookeysmoker

Cole best shot was everything before cole world but I like his change and growth to he’s still relatable to be a rich nigga. I mean get this ” 4 your eyes only”
That analogy alone is great and I mean. Think about this to no rapper cars in the driveway just some shit to get back and forth hmm something to think about for the average man

      • Poopmaster

Word….the one thing that annoys me though about peeps is when they say ” you gotta be intellectual to understand Cole” that’s not true at all you jus have to be preceptive he has always told stories about others through his eyes. I relate to that I’m not an extremely intelligent man or nuttin but I’ve always had perception I’ve always been open to new knowledge learning new hobbies/traits/and skills.ive adapted to any situation. That’s y I dig cole’s shit he just that dude he has simple priorities like me there ain’t much to life but being positive and to try to be the best version of yourself. Now if you can ride to that then j. Cole your dude he speaks for us humble cats, we know we got the talent but we let the motion speak not the words

        • Spookeysmoker

No you don’t have to be a intellect it’s people whit college degrees who say that shot to make themselves feel better about being in debt over a piece of paper and yes his shit is relatable and the simple to the profound mind should understand his art he’s a artist these other niggas is rappers lol

          • Poopmaster

Facts….j. Cole is that dude man not many rappers out there sole work into the album…it’s like when cats were getting upset that beyonce didn’t get that Grammy whe ” Beck” won artist of the year over her it’s simple if you look at the credits to those albums beck was compose Soley by himself and beyonce had tons of other help . J. Cole is like that too haha where he don’t get much outside help and that’s what makes his shit so much better

          • Spookeysmoker

Exactly the sheeple never understand unless it’s posted on a big ass screen honestly I think Beyoncé sucks they’re so many other singers that really are better but hey when rookie surfers wanna ride waves they a follow whatever trend

          • Poopmaster

Huh ain’t that the truth. hey man great minds think a like. It’s funny how the corniest songs will get stuck in your head though haha

          • Poopmaster

Honestly though, don’t you think Cole has shown his talent, he has produced his own shit since the begining, my point is I wouldn’t mind him doing a collab album with a bunch of different producers. That would be tight

          • Spookeysmoker

People want that copy paste mumble jumble shit rap like I’m with the trap rap and all that but come on man these niggas ain’t even really trapping lol

      • Poopmaster

I will admit though now that Cole got all that spoken word shit out the way all his sensitive emotions and shit, I wanna now hear a hard assertive loud pure banger album jus him being a cocky mofo…agressive shit some “tale of 2 citiez “shit

        • Spookeysmoker

I like that to though I really think he multi talented I mean who’s producing their own cd making own beats and no features!

  • yolkipalki69

I thank w.e brought you into our lives every day!!!!!! One of the few who bring that Hip Hop vibe every time…. thank you for your craft and for staying true to yourself……. Please dont ever go away with ur music.

  • Moondog

this ish has nothing on Ab-Soul’s new project

  • C.Savage

The warm up, come up & blow up were fire, Cole lost my attention shortly after that, minus a few bangers after them tapes. Cole overrated in my mind.
