Drake is doing the same thing to Jay that steph curry did to Lebron.. you see how that ends up.. hint(the light skin guy closes there mouth and tries to collect more talent)
Steph curry picked up kevin durant.. drake is attenpting to pick up everything he can vulture before his weakness of being a sensitive waffle color r and b singer trying to claim goons get exposed .. jay GOAT.. dont fuck with him.. there isnt another NAS that can level him out right now . Promise

    • YoungPrime

Why the “Light skin” jab when the discussion regards 2 light skinned people?

      • Chancin’ ✞

Niggas afraid of the light skin gods

        • Dave

Dude, I think every man on the planet is somewhat misunderstood of the light skin as they do have many advantages whether it be from a life expectancy standpoint, or an overall awareness of different cultures.. they have an edge

          • Chancin’ ✞

This looks like a very interesting opinion, if I ever read it I’ll let you know

          • Dave

Clever.. however most opinions arent directly reflecting reality.. they are just.. opinions..

            Again..clever

          • Mec-One

Doesn’t matter the complexion of an individual who strives to be the best …….. your hang up on light skin people is peculiar at best and stems from your own personal experiences and what you perceive as something factual. When it’s actually a preconceived false generalization
            ……… smh

          • Dave

Sweet psychiatric take on the situation.. now lets get back to reality..

two light skinned dudes that want to be the best, but dont openly say anything about it or to the people they are trying to push down to be the best…

If lebron died tomorrow (god forbid) steph curry would be the best imo

If jay z died tomorrow (god forbid) the rap game would cease and people like drake would do their best

            Hmm.. sounds awful… pussy

          • Mec-One

Bruh, even your hypertheticals are sketch

          • Dave

bruh, every statement you’ve made has been pure speculation of my sentiment towards how fake drake is, and how real Jay is….you are a fly on a wall that doesn’t move…

How do you feel about the situation random guy that only comments against others creativity?

      • Dave

Well , it just so happens to be that two different light skin colored men, have the same “let me poke the lion, and sit in the background, and act like nothing happened” approach to stealing the crown from 2 different darker skinned individuals that ACTUALLY wear it. I have light skinned friends, and yes, they do act like this , especially when it comes to women… dont really care why…But its high percentage

        • Mec-One

Dude …… “stealing the crown”? …… just stop …. smh

          • Dave

Yikes.. so if Jay Z doesnt have the crown.. please, by all means, explain to us who does..

And if this light skinned dude drake isnt trying to steal jay zs crown behind the scenes, using he internet memes, random comedians , culture vulturing every piece of talent, and sending subliminal (pussy as fuck) messages on tracks towards the real GOAT(jay z).. then what exactly are you saying ?

Dont worry, we will all be waiting for your stupid fucking response that holds no real reference or fact

          • Mec-One

I’m actually zeroed in on your use of the word “stolen” as if you’re insinuating that Jay did not put in work for his ……….

          • Dave

damn dude, you’re pathetic…you have not mentioned one bit of information relevant to the subject..you just keep attempting to attack my suggestions…good luck with that Bruh! <—–jay z line

          • Mec-One

Jumping in your feelings when someone questions the bullshit you write is not the answer ……. I’ll leave you alone since a simple discussion is too much for you to handle.

          • Dave

This is your idea of a discussion? Bro im stating facts out here.. 12 platinum albums sold.. came from the streets, billionair baby in the making…
edit: goes into the booth and leaves wih an album the same week with his own words on paper..

            Versus what?

A fucking r and b singer that used to be in a wheechair acting on a preteen soap opera talking about he hard??? Edit: thats doesnt even write his own shit?????

Come out with some facts of your own son, cause no ones buying any of your 2 bit fake ass responses guy

          • Mec-One

Wow …. now this I totally understand and agree with …… why you just couldn’t stay this earlier is beyond me lol

          • Dave

tbh guy, I’ve probably said something similar in another article, but this comparison to legend shit is getting out of hand. There isn’t a rapper in the game now other than Eminem, Kendrick, Wayne, and Cole, that should even be talked about in the same sentence as Jay.

Drake should be discussed more as a trey songz that happened to make it big, not a legend..sorry.

  • JonSnow

Y’all need to stop acting like jay z still has anything left in his old ass tank get the fuck out of here

    • Dave

      This is a stupid comment..

Jay Z is running the rap game still.

If he wasn’t, lil yachtys would be.. and .. the world isnt ready for that level of stupidity.. now or ever…

      • JonSnow

Yeah running it from his retirement home . Get out with that boat shit . Drake is the goat right now end of discussion .

        • Dave

damn bro, they gonna get you the help you need…any all the people saying future , migos, etc are goat too…yall all need medical assistance…I wouldn’t even listen to rap if J, K dot, J cole, and Em werent alive tbh

Drake is the fakest gangster alive, and you can have fun purchasing the plastic bitch…good luck in life

  • yolkipalki69

Personally Jay put me on to rap as the first CD i ever got with my first disk player………. He endorsed Hillary and since i cant stand him……….. on Hip Hop terms…. he an OG his come up vs Drakes LMAO………. guy from the streets from the hood , from rags to riches vs Drake who demands his own respect in his sphere …..but not in gangsta rap……… Drake top R and B sure , even top MC … give him his but better than Jay Z? HELL NO, you not hard you from Canada…… NO Europe rappers here claiming nothing , neither are any other aside from Iggi Azelia but she getting the 2 hit pass right now…………ALL IN ALL DRAKE WILL NEVER REACH JAY Z LEVEL……… THEY IN 2 DIFFERENT LANES…… Same as you can not compare Kobe vs Lebron……one is SG and another SF……

    • COMPLEX3000

Jay isn’t the best lyrically by any stretch of the means. Funny how when Nas either Jay all his comebacks were about numbers. Now drake has more #’s then Jay was doing on albums and that doesn’t matter anymore?? Lol

      • Samisback

Lol no they weren’t, “super ugly” wasn’t about numbers and “blueprint 2” definitely wasn’t album numbers..Jay never mentioned numbers in none of his disses to nas, stop making up shit because you’re hurt.

        • COMPLEX3000

men lie women lie numbers don’t, so now that wasnt a jay line??? yo are u fuckin retarded or pretend to be?? who’s lying that’s a fuckin jay line and your saying he never said it??? wow u a groupie 4real 4real lol

          • Samisback

What diss record did he say that in?

      • FuckYaCommentB…

Idk my guy. With Jay having 10+ albums under his belt & majority going platinum around a time where streams weren’t in Da picture, it’s kinda hard figuring Drake has more numbers den Hov. Plus as long as Ppl are constantly listening to an album digitally, I believe it counts towards a stream sale. Hell, fans plus OvO themselves Coulda played a part in all Dem streams, cuz when Views first dropped, The internet kinda went crazy with disappointment. It grew on to ppl eventually. But let’s not also forget he gamed Da stream sales by putting Hotline bling on there & Dat instantly boosted Views sales from Da jump.

        • Dave

I didnt read his whole comment, but did he really say Drake has better numbers than hov? can we actually delete his account somehow? shouldn’t some bullshit alarm be going of alerting the people of this site to disallow any further words to be written by yolk i pak a 69<—-wtf??

This shit is getting out of hand, let me get some of these delusional mumble rap babies in a room and educate these mother fuckers. It go Biggie, Tupac, Andre, Jay, Eminem, Kendrick, Cole. The list stops there, but I'm optimistic for 2017. FOH with this migos glorified jungle dance music shit bro…them dudes remind me of 2017 version of lil jon and the east side boys….what a fuckin joke

      • yolkipalki69

1000% Jay is not best lyrically we have seen……… I can also agree through the years he has been disappearing and his work is does not meet the level his name gives………. yet when B.I.G was alive and BIG L and he was doing work with them , he was one of the illest to do it from NY….. NAS is awesome also….. but neither had gohst writers as far as i know and i can be wrong if there is proof for that…….Drake he performs great and all his numbers are huge but he is not from the street or USA and comparing him to an authentic person from hip hop like Jay is just disrespectful especially if one is R and B and the other is Hip Hop/Rap…….. I respect Drake also for his own lane but never can i compare him to any rapper that forever cemented their legacy like Jay, Nas, Pac, B.I.G, Master P and many more….. Drake is not a gangster rapper who connects with the street dudes, he connects to a different crowd for the most part……… all this is my opinion and not to make it seem that your wrong, i just see it a bit different. But you are right also in what you said.

    • FuckYaCommentB…

Top MC? No sir. Entertainer maybe, but not MC.

      • yolkipalki69

I mean he is an MC , he performs other peoples songs.. he does not write all of his therefore he is an MC and im not sure you can name right now someone doing it bigger than him……… no pun intended.

        • FuckYaCommentB…

True, no one is bigger than him right now, but Whatchu just described, isn’t a definition of an MC. Becuz writing your rhymes is definitely a requirement & always has been.

  • yung

Another (OG) rapper trying to stay relevant

    • Dave

      Youre an idiot

      • yung

        takes 1 to kno 1

Good one bub. Dont forget to tip the waiter

          • yung

I see that you edited your initial response … dumbass
Dont forget to tip your editor 🙂

          • Dave

          • yung

that joke was wack bruh … just go tip your editor

          • Dave

Haha youre right man.. just wack bruh..

So , how do you feel about the ACTUAL topic? Oh okay.. we’ll wait..

  • Samisback

Drake isn’t or ever will be on Jay’s level when it comes to rap

    • Dave

      Thank

      You

      • Samisback

anybody who say’s otherwise are probably Drake stans

        • Dave

bro, I feel like sometimes, if you actually listen to some of these mumble rap songs now a days real closely, you can actually hear the tears dropping from Jay z’s cheeks hit the floor as he’s saddened to what the rap game has become.

It’s a fuckin joke dude. I’m not saying people should be getting killed over gang wars affiliated to rappers, but a 140 lb light skinned wanna be thug like Drake, should not be saying things like “my goons will be waiting in the lobby”<—-Drake, you sound like that little kid from high school, that's "going to get his cousins" when someone slaps you in the face. Just sayin.

          • Samisback

Lmao..word, he shouldn’t be talking like that..it isn’t convincing at all

    • COMPLEX3000

Jay was never on nas level but u Jay stans keep him there based on numbers. “Men lie women lie, numbers dont” ya Jay z stand live by that when convenient. But now that drake #’s on sales are at levels Jay never saw. Now ya wanna ignore #’s?? Lol lol

      • Samisback

Jay was never on nas level? Jay has 3 classic albums, reasonable doubt..the blueprint and the black album..nas has 1..with illmatic, maybe 2..”it was written” could be up there also, very dope album…lyrically Nas is better but Jay makes better songs and lets not forget this line

“I dumbed down for my audience to double my dollars, they criticize me for it..yet they all yell holla”

meaning he could’ve been much more lyrically if he wanted but he wasn’t making any money doing it..so he switched it up, go google Jay’s earlier music..”I can get with that” “the originator” feat jaz-o

        • evan_berry

Ay don’t forget stillma tic as a classic

          • Samisback

stillmatic was good but wasn’t a classic

        • Rick Jizzle

          Stillmatic = Classic

          • Samisback

nah sorry, but if you think it’s a classic..cool, I’m just not one of those people who call every good album a classic…stillmatic was good but it didn’t come close to touching illmatic.

          • COMPLEX3000

not one to call everything a classic but said rd and black album is classic lol lol lol. what’s classic about 22 2’s. that shit is dated n wack. politics as usual that shit not clasic n bars are mediocre as shit. aint no nigga is wack n dated, regrets dated n mediocre ass bars. cashmere thoughts mediocre bars. thats like 5 mediocre ass tracks but rd is classic lol lol lol

          • Samisback

Wait..So Reasonable Doubt the same album rolling stone ranked 248 on their list of 500 greatest albums.
the same album the source named one of the greatest hiphop albums of all time
the same album that MTV ranked 6th greatest rap albums of all time
the same album that pitchfork dubbed one of hiphop’s landmark albums…these are music critics saying these things by the way, Reasonable doubt is honored and cherished by pretty much everybody in the rap community.

There’s even no point breaking down the Black Album to you,

            you obviously..know nothing about music,

          • COMPLEX3000

This nigga just referred to rolling Stone magazine as to why Jay album is great lol lol lol lol lol. This fool has his Jay male groupie loyalty in full effect. I’m done with this Jay stan lol lol

          • Samisback

when you have no more ammo..you put “lol lol lol lol” 10 times trying to hide that hurt because you have no rebuttal to anything I’m saying. keep laughing away that hurt.

          • NYCityKid

U put me on to madd shit about RD I ain’t even kno about. Even if I was on the other side of the argument. The facts you stated would have been enough for me to say. “Ok… noted… but imo yadda yadda yadda”. This nigga talking like his opinion is more factual than certified publications lol lol lol lol.

          • Samisback

“This nigga talking like his opinion is more factual than certified publications lol lol lol lol.”

lol my point exactly, it’s these guys job to listen to music and critique it..but he believes their opinion holds no value but his does..

          • COMPLEX3000

you talking like mtv and rolling stone white boy interns hold any weight lol and that’s your whole argument on fuckin magazine ratings

          • COMPLEX3000

CERTIFIED PUBLICATION?? lol lol so because something is certified makes it legit?? rolling stones said hammer and vanilla ice album was dope. they are certified diamond. guess they rap elite too right??? lol lol lol your clearly showed your some clueless kid who lives the culture threw t.v and magazines. u repeat everything that was fed to you. your not able to be objective cause all your knowledge is from what magazines tell u. certified publication says future is dope. so i guess since certified publication said it, gotta be the truth lol lol lol. your a clown!

          • COMPLEX3000

yea my opinion does hold more weight then some suburban ass white kid such as yourself that doesn’t even fully understand the lyrics to tell me whats dope or not. how a white kid from the suburbs with no clue about whats being talked about gonna tell me how dope it is lol. rolling stones on hip hop holds no weight. thats like a country singer saying what real hip hop is lol. fuck outta here

          • Samisback

After calling one of the greatest rap albums ever trash..your opinion has lost all value, At this point I’m just arguing with you for entertainment purposes, lol@me being white…Rolling Stones are the same people that dubbed Tupac and Biggie two of the greatest ever by the way, but I guess they’re wrong about that also?

          • COMPLEX3000

There u go making shit up again never said Rd was trash. I said black album was trash. And yes they are wrong u clown. Pac is far from one of the best rappers. But hey rolling Stones a rock n roll magazine said it so it has to be correct right?? Lol lol same way rolling Stones said hammer n vanilla ice had dope albums lol. Your a groupie nigga who gets his hip hop knowledge off a roc n roll magazine. Ur a suburban kid in love with the culture. U have no clue about shit. Now 2pac is one of the greatest cause rolling Stones said so??. Pac is another mediocre rapper that became great after he died. Again u was in single digits when all this was going on. U have no clue what u talking about lil groupie boy

          • Samisback

lol oh so now you’re lying, you most definitely said reasonable doubt was trash…. and the majority of the Hiphop community agrees with biggie and Pac’s place in Hiphop , at the top of most people top 5 list it’s biggie and Tupac..source magazine and vibe also share those same sentiments, and you call PAC mediocre? Lmao..bruh stop trolling man, this is getting out of control now, the more you talk the more you’re proving me right about your music knowledge..keep going

          • COMPLEX3000

U can easily look at my comments none said Rd was trash I said that shit was mediocre as fuck n posted the mediocre ass tracks no one purposely puts on. u was 9 years old clown u just repeating shit u read. Like u just finish saying nastradamous was a gangster album lol. Your a fuckin groupie. Pac is not one of the best rappers. U don’t even know or heard any 80’s album. According to u 90’s is when rap started. U got pac n Jay and big best ever like krs one, g rap, Kane, rakim etc don’t exist lol. Your 29 kid u have no clue about nothing. U repeat magazine articles from rock n roll magazines. Now pac is the best cause u n rolling Stones said so?? Lol ok groupie. Rakim rums circles around pac lyrically but rolling Stones didn’t tell u about rakim right?? Lol I’m done with you your rap knowledge doesn’t even spread threw early 90’s. Your oblivious to 80’s rap. All u can do is refer to what magazines tell u lol.your a waste of time at this point cause ur a suburban clown in love with the culture u don’t really know or lived it. Continue being a Jay groupie

          • Samisback

Lol here you go with all this typing, I can tell when you get upset..keep it short man, and you did call it trash stop lying.

          • COMPLEX3000

Rolling Stones must forgot about krs one who was better then pac. Guess they forgot about nas, g rap, kane I can go on. Your Lil boy ass has no clue about those rappers cause rolling Stones don’t cover real hip hop. So shut ur suburban wanna be hip hop so bad ass down. Your knowledge comes off a rock n roll magazine lol lol I don’t even take u serious. U now said 2 pac is one of the best cause a roc n roll magazine said so lol lol lol. You was fuckin like 8 or 9 when the golden Era was happening. But u trying to tell me who was the best when I was living threw it allowed to be in the streets knowing what’s going on. U reading shit off a rock n roll magazine after the fact from white intern kids who know as little and younger then you lol. Congratulations your Jay z #1 male groupie. U should be proud.

          • Samisback

What does me being 9 have to do with anything? I brought DMX first album..”it’s dark and hell is hot” when I was in the 3rd grade..well my mom brought for me but same thing, you believe because I was young at the time I couldn’t listen to music? And who doesn’t consider PAC one of the goats? I mean outside of you but your music knowledge ain’t shit so you don’t count..pretty much everybody considers him one of the goats,

          • COMPLEX3000

lol what the fuck he said about reasonable doubt that everybody didn’t know?? lol got a dumb youngn teaching another youngn lol. what did u learn? that this jay groupie refers to rock n roll magazine to co-sign his argument of great albums. cause rolling stone would know n covers our culture so well lol. and mtv the same station that says lil wayne and goochie man were the best at one point. and that’s your resource? yes nigga i know n lived way more about my culture then fuckin rolling stones. like i assumed a 20 year old who trying to tell a older nigga what was poppin when i lived threw it. your a groupie B

          • NYCityKid

I ain’t goin lie bruh, i ain’t wit the arguin shit. I wanna be on some cool shit like my nigga Killa

          • COMPLEX3000

Nigga I’m laughing at u. You ignored everything I said with shit u made up lol. Your a fuckin Jay stan it’s useless talking to u. Everything u brought up I used against u and all u do is make up more bullshit. Ur a joke at this point. Still waiting for u to explain why u pointed to out the line Jay pointed out for u about nas contradicting himself. Then I point out 2 tracks Jay did the same shit and u ignored it. Lol u did that with everything. Your a Jay z groupie. Congrats on being his #1 male groupie fan

          • Samisback

lol nah you’re hurt..you’re fake laughing, I understand though if I was getting owned like you I would also..and one thing I don’t do is make up stuff, everything I’ve said have been factual..and when did Jay ever contradict himself? I don’t ever remember Jay being a conscious rapper on one album and being a Gangsta rapper on another album like a certain someone.

          • COMPLEX3000

u didn’t own shit. like a dedicated groupie u just repeated lies u heard from jay. still waiting for u to explain the more contradictory rhymes jay had then nas. u ignored that along with alot of shit. cause magazines didn’t get into details so your stuck lol. owned nigga u repeat what magazines tell u

          • COMPLEX3000

what album was nas a gansta rapper? again jay said it so u repeat it.. but other then a video or two what was gangster or ever been gangster about any nas albums?? nas has not 1 gangster album u just repeat what jay says u clown. when did jay contradict himself? i posted the rhymes u clown. even says it in can i live that he contradicts himself. wow obviously dissecting lyrics is an issue for u i can tell u just google shit

          • Samisback

I’m guessing you never heard nastradamus?

          • COMPLEX3000

Woooow lol obviously u never heard nastradamous. That shit was far from gangsta lol lol your a fuckin fool. What’s gansta about God love us hood niggaz?? What’s gansta about the life we chose?? What’s ganster about the prediction?? What’s ganster about some of us have angels?? What’s gangsta about project windows?? What’s ganstarr about come get me?? Only gansterr track is shoot em up that uses a nursery rhyme hook. Lol u obviously never heard the album n just repeating shit u just heard people say. You clearly displayed how fuckin stupid n no clue u have. Nastradamous is far from ganster lol. The album opens with spoken word but it’s gangsta album lol lol lol

          • Samisback

Wait “shoot em up” “quiet niggas” come and get me, he’s not rapping about shooting and killing people on those songs? Lol..you’re calling me a Jay Stan but bruh..you have Nas dick in your mouth so deep you can’t even admit when I’m right

          • COMPLEX3000

jay z whole persona is fake. just like drake, nas or any other rapper. only jay z male groupie believes his fake drug lord stories lol. ya groupie niggaz believe he started roc with drug money too right?? lol ya jay groupies are some dedicated dick ryders B

          • Samisback

            Lol you mad

          • COMPLEX3000

And he referred to MTV lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol your obviously no older then 30 cause you keep referring to the after the fact source issue that made Rd 5 mics after initially being 4 mics lol lol. He trying to school niggaz when he just learning shit lol. He really thought Rd was 5 mics lol lol lol lol lol

          • Samisback

Learning shit? I’m 28 years old, I was actually around to experience it..and didn’t I just give you 3 other sources that gave it a 5 rating? what’s the difference between 5 mics and a 5 star rating? it’s pretty much the same thing moron..please tell me you’re joking, you really thought there was a difference between 5 mics and 5 rating?

          • COMPLEX3000

you gave mtv and rolling stones. rolling stones doesn’t know shit about hip hop but that’s what u leaning on. and mtv is a pop station for popular songs and that’s your only source u can refer too. many hip hop greats say jay isn’t lyrically the best. only his stans think that

          • COMPLEX3000

why u keep referring to what others say n not answer the questions with ur own answers??? why are these tracks classic when all everyone hears is mediocre bars??? break down whats classic about these wack mediocre tracks i’m refering too?? how u claiming to know so much but telling me what everyone else say?? lol

          • Samisback

If you can’t listen to it yourself and understand why it’s considered a classic among the hiphop community then there’s nothing I can say that can make you believe otherwise, just know you’re in the minority though..I’m just glad you’re not being paid for your opinion.

          • COMPLEX3000

I’ve listen to it the Shit is basic as shit u clown. Only groupies like u say if u don’t understand. No clown it’s just that the Shit is basic as fuck lol. Your a groupie!!

          • Samisback

I guess 95 percent of the rap community are Jay groupies then because they’ve all said the same thing I’ve said..so I guess you’re in that other 5 percent that believes otherwise..oh well.

          • COMPLEX3000

this nigga was but 9 or 10 when resonable doubt came out but gonna tell me it was classic. nigga no one even checked for that shit when it came out. nigga when that shit came out jay was still not even more poppin then mase at the time. that album was nothing that biggie and the industry handnt already done n seen. stans like u made it classic after the fact but u wouldnt know those things cause at 9 u wasn’t even probly allowed to listen to rap let alone tell me what was poppin at the time. wow u kids are delusional

          • Samisback

You do know when illmatic first came out it didn’t sell neither..it only sold 59k the first week, and none of the singles off it did well..it took illmatic 6 years just to go gold and Nas was on a major label back then..does that mean people wasn’t fucking with illmatic when it first came out?

          • Samisback

I mean if we’re doing that then..Jay-z Hardknock life vol 2 is a classic also..right?

          • Rick Jizzle

Bro Stillmatic was probably a more complete album then Illmatic, it was fire begin to end imo

          • Samisback

lol wait what? did you just say Stillmatic was better than Illmatic? I can no longer continue to conversation.

          • Rick Jizzle

            More *Complete

          • Samisback

aka it’s an better album, you’re allowed to have your opinion though..but you’re probably in the minority.

          • COMPLEX3000

            it was better then rd

          • Samisback

            L..

        • COMPLEX3000

3 classic albums according to who??. rd became classic after all u jay stans repeated it was. When it came out NO ONE CHECKED FOR IT!!! blueprint was not better then stillmatic. so not sure how nas has 1 classic and jay 3 when stillmatic better then blueprint. and the black album was trash!!! you just went threw this whole rant showing how jay fans can never have an objective debate cause ya think everything jay does is classic. you agreed nas is better lyrically, so everything after that is stan talk. i’m not a female so i listen to hip hop for lyrics. not for style not to shake my ass, but for dope lyrically stories. what’s classic about big pimpin?? whats classic about change clothes?? what’s classic about is that your bitch?? jay makes better songs for who?? people who don’t care about lyrics maybe. jay is not on nas level! when did jay ever have a rewind track? when did jay ever have a book of rhymes track?? i can go on all day about the classic lyrical tracks nas has jay is just not capable of making. You have to had lyrical dope shit before to say you dumbed down for sales. and dj clue started that holla shit and like everything he does jay stole it n made it his lol

          • Samisback

3 classics according to pretty much everybody who listens to music..I mean except for Jay haters like yourself, and I think everything Jay does is classic? I only named 3 albums, 3 of the best albums of his career..3 albums that both received 5 mics and high ratings from multiple music critics, 3 albums that also made rolling stone’s greatest 500 albums ever.

            lol you’re hurt so bad

          • COMPLEX3000

Rd never received the mics lol lol lol lol lol dam u just make up and repeat everything Jay tells u lol. Your not a hip hop fan ur a Jay stan. Everything I refer too is lyrics. Everything u refer too is being loyal to Jay and what he says that’s never consigned by anyone but him n his stans lol. When did Rd get 5 mics?? Lol lol lol wow

          • Samisback

that’s their reviews for Reasonable Doubt, and again it’s ranked 248 in rolling stones 500 greatest albums ever..

Shall I keep going? lol..you can google this stuff by the way, as Jay would say “Google’s ya friend bruh”

          • NYCityKid

Lol u just don’t like Jay Z bruh

          • COMPLEX3000

Jay z dope but wouldn’t say he the best lyrically or on nas level lyrically. but Jay do his thing. I take no personal liking to no rappers. I like the lyrics not the rappers

          • NYCityKid

You don’t like Big? no homo

          • COMPLEX3000

I fuckz wit big heavy. But I don’t let me liking artist cloud my judgement on lyrics. Shit I use to love n.o.r.e. but I would never sit here n tell u he’s lyrically anything just because I personally like him.

        • COMPLEX3000

don’t need to google jay. i’m well aware of his style hopping ways, from a fake harlem nigga to a fake jaz-o to a kane clone, then biggie clone. then jumped on ruff ryder wave, then stole usher jeans n suit blazer style lollol. i know about jay style jackin wayz….. remember this line “went from Jaz to hanging with kane, to irv, to big and eminem murdered you on your own shit” that’s more factual then jay’s pretend line of dumbing down lyrics that was bumb down from jump cause he wes never lyrically on nas level. fyi one thing i don’t agree in that line, em didn’t muder jay on renegade, they both told the same story i like how jay told it better.

          • Samisback

You remember this line “is it oochie wally or is it one mic, is it black girl lost or shorty owe you for ice”?

Nas the hypocrite..lol, and lets also talk about how he went from lyrical rap on illmatic to mafioso rap on “it was written” pretty much jacked biggie’s style, and lets make this clear Jay isn’t lyrical by choice..like I said listen to his earlier music, his earlier freestyles..he can rap that way if he wants it’s apparent, but rapping that way wasn’t making him any money.

          • COMPLEX3000

wow u jay fans really repeat EVERYTHING he convinces ya to say lol. EVERY RAPPER ON PLANET EARTH contradicts themselves. yet jay got ya acting like that’s a lyrical issue or something he don’t do. to quote your fav rapper “thug nigga till the end tell a friend bitch, wont change for no paper, plus i been rich” he changed like a muthafucka and he wasn’t rich before rap so how he been rich?? here’s another where he admits it….”i know i contradicted myself but i don’t need that now, just once in a blue when there’s nothing to do” i can go for days with the contradictory rhymes jay spit his whole rap career. what’s contradictory about one track speaking real hood shit then another speaking real life positive shit. that’s real shit nothing contradictory about that. ya just repeat that cause jay said it. and yes he was super lyrical on illmatic. and yes he did take on a mobb boss style in it was written formaybe 2 videos but u forgetting the main point. it was written was STILL LYRICALLY CRACK!!! so nas went “commerical” without “dumbing down lyrics”. so that discredits that bullshit theory. jay is not lyrical cause he’s just not lyrically dope. only jay fans believe he’s not dope on purpose. lol lol biggie and nas had no problem still kicking dope lyrically shit while providing mass appeal. only jay made that excuse of dumbing down lyrics he never had lol

          • Samisback

lol why are you typing so much? come on man..keep it minimum, I know you’re in your feelings because you’re being schooled but keep it short..

You mean the same Jay who held his own on “Brooklyn’s finest” against Biggie, the same Jay that outrapped Biggie on “Love the Dough”

          • Samisback

Why am I debating a guy that just called one of the greatest albums ever trash…should’ve ended the debate on that note, obviously you know nothing about music

let me guess you thought Nastradamus was classic also?

          • COMPLEX3000

Again according to who?? Just cause u a bias Jay fan doesn’t make what u say facts. Black album is not classic. Nope nastradamous wasn’t classic at all. Again I assess lyrics I’m not a groupie like most Jay fans are. U ignored the whole thing about contradicting rhymes when I pointed out how Jay the king of contradiction. U ignored a lot of shit yet I don’t know hip hop?? Says the Jay z stan lol lol. All my points are pointed out facts. U make shit u0 as a fan with nothing to co-sign it but u said so lol

          • Samisback

lol..the black album wasn’t classic but rolling stone had in their 500 greatest albums ever, not rap albums but music albums period..that includes all genre’s of music.

          • FuckYaCommentB…

Okay bro, you & Yo lyric comments really got me in my bag over here b. I Just heard Nas rap Dat Shit in my head. Lemme press play on Dat real quick lol.

  • You mad huh?

jay just talking shit because he gotta new album coming and he needs the publicity. all rappers do this its nothing new.

    • Mec-One

When has Jay not talked that shit ……. new album or not …….

      • Samisback

I mean if you wanna be honest Drake started this back and forth between them when he called Jay corny for rapping about Art.

        • Mec-One

But, this isn’t a back and forth thing ……. Jay is just being Jay.
This is actually not for drake ….. this is for those who don’t know Jay resume or conveniently forgot while acting like other rappers are out here doing the unheard of ……. lol

          • Samisback

You’re right It’s Jay being Jay but ever since Drake took that shot at Jay a few years back..he’s thrown subliminals at him throughout his music..and Drake’s responded to them also.

          • Mec-One

After Jay called him miss drizzy …….. it was a wrap! lol

          • Samisback

lol yeah on that “we made it” remix with jay electronica, which was better than Drake’s and Soulja Boy’s version.

          • Dave

I agree.. Jay doesnt need to say anything to some dude that “acts” about being tough and rapping

      • Melo

        Tupac

        • Mec-One

          Foh

          • Melo

            Do your research

          • Mec-One

Ain’t no fucking research needs to be done ….. ya boy dead ….. end of story …… foh

    • NYCityKid

Jay been bombin on this nigga for years now. Fuck is you talkin bout? Don’t do that

      • You mad huh?

stop suckin his dick. jay been quiet for mad long. a few days ago its announced hes in the studio again. now hes stirring back up the drake beef.

      • You mad huh?

yea ok. announces a new album coming….now all of a sudden hes bringing back the drake shots. shits corny as hell.

        • NYCityKid

Don’t act like them niggas don’t got legitimate beef since MCHG when he was bombin on Wayne for talking crazy about Beyonce. That’s why Drake said something 1st since Wayne never responded to all them shots fired. Since then them niggas been going back at forth at it and i don’t blame him.

  • thetruthcali

Jay-Z – Can I live > Drakes entire catalog , Bloodline, Country of origin, Degrassi career , Emotions, Duck pose picture’s, Light skin, Drake Stans, Anyone hating on this comment, That “cash me outside” bish etc….

    • Dave

Lmao, i want them to do a reality show where drake actually goes to a real hood like where Jay grew up in Brooklyn.. extra points if he doesnt bring his hired bodyguards lmfao what a joke .. that dude is a sitting duck where Jay made it out of by himself to become a near billionaire

      • FlyGuy23

Jay never went back to his own hood he faker than any rapper out there. Stop it five

        • Dave

okay “five”…. please, explain how you know this questionable statement…?

          Oh okay..you dont…

    • JonSnow

You sound like a wanna be thug

    • HotlineQueef

      fuck you nigger

      • jaysonmanman

        Loser.

  • Samisback

Jay literally started from the bottom, Drake was born with a sliver spoon in his mouth..from two different backgrounds, his music will never be able to touch people like Jay’s music does..when you think of songs like “you must love me” and “some how some way” you think of the struggle..when you think of songs like “hotling bling” you think of dance music.

    • Dave

Lmao, thank god people can see the humor in any possibility of these two having a “fair ” fight

  • HotlineQueef

the song was so trash i couldnt listen to the lyrics lol

      It was pretty bad lol

  • bawse

Everyone knows Drake is the father of those twins.

    • Mec-One

      *crickets*

  • I fuck wit jay tough but this whole cold war thing wit drake has gotten corny. the average drake fan who is from this era can’t appreciate what jay did in his era and will side with drake, and the average jay fan from his era will think jay can’t lose and drake can’t hold jigga’s mic. it’s pointless to even keep doin this.

    • Dave

bro, this isn’t jordan vs Lebron…this is one rapper versus an r and b singer, that CAN happen….

      • you are are an exact example of what I was talking about. fans of drake that are 15-20 something are way too out of touch with prime jay. the jay that we are getting now isn’t even washington wizards jordan. it’s the charlotte bobcat owner jordan. he’s too far removed from the real action in this era. and this is coming from a jay fan.

        • Dave

Youre a confused man bud.. im from the jay z money aint a thing era.. this new drake rap doesnt hold a candle to that or holy grail jay..

Your judgement is silly, as is your stance on jays ability… unlike jordan, or basketball, rap is a craft that ages like wine if done correctly.. why am i talking this much about the current goat?

Lets see what that jays new album does to the streets.. gee i wonder if it will ALSO go platinum like EVERY one of his others..

Do yourself a favor, and get real

          • yet and still breh. you are further proving my point. I’m not confused at all, I’m just not loyal to any rapper, any other sort of entertainer, or public figure. why? because they don’t even know I exist. so I always look at things objectively.

man if you are going to tell me anything jay put out post american gangster is better than or as good as anything pre american gangster, you are just loyal to jay. sure he’s not garbage but even diehard jay fans can honestly say bruh ain’t really quite who he used to be music wise.

jay’s era has passed, this happens. the late 90s and early to mid 00s are over, the entire sound of rap is completely different now, and he’s not the first person ppl of this era want to hear. whether you want to admit it or not — it’s drake. the billboard charts, the billboard records, the streaming numbers, and the streaming records are easy proof of that.

bruh. rap can easily age and sound dated — especially if you didn’t grow up with that music. listen to prime big daddy kane and then listen to prime jay. the only way a person won’t admit that the music sounds dated is if they have an obvious bias to the music or their youth, or if for some misguided reason they pledge loyalty to a musician that wouldn’t know them from a stray dog.

years from now drake will be in this same position and the ppl of this era will be saying the same thing about him that you are saying about jay, and people younger than them in the next era will all tell them that the biggest rapper of their era is better than drake. and drake will still be selling records to ppl who see him as the best, just like 30 and 40 somethings who are still helping jay go plat. this is just the cycle of music man. especially hip hop, which is decidedly more youth driven than other forms of music.

          • Dave

You have a lot of good logic here bro, and thank you for that.

Drake is the most listened to artist right now, but he is not a rapper.

Drake does have the sound right now in hip hop, but hes not a rapper.

Drake can play the part of a rapper/thug, but hes not a rapper.

My point is this. Real rap will always exist in an alley somewhere in any major city, that never gets played on the radio.

Drake rap(fake rap) will also exist forever, on our radios, on the internet, in our homes, but it will never exist in those major city alleys.

Only real rappers understand that. Have yourself a nice day now.

          • no doubt

I’ll be the first to tell you, the only drake projects that I even like are if you’re reading this it’s too late and the collab he did wit future, and hell he didn’t even write those tracks lol. he always came across as a cornball to me, but I would be a liar if I said that dude doesn’t have some flat out undeniable songs. at least once or twice a year.

but for ppl who respect the actual skill it takes to write your own shit and spit it while still being entertaining — he will never get a pass, and he will never have a seat at the table with the true legends. he hasn’t earned his place there legitimately. the ghost writers knocked him out of consideration to me. and he’ll never have the stripes that come with literally coming from the streets to the big stage, but shit man — I live in atlanta and bruh get plenty play in the hood tho.

          • Dave

Yeah, don’t get me wrong, I like some of Drakes shit too… he’s a good artist. He has mass appeal. Women love them some light skin R and B guys who “have an edge”(sound like any one familiar). Examples Bryson Tiller, Trey Songz, Tory Lanez(hates himself/drake), LL cool j, etc)

I’m actually a bit surprised to hear Drake gets play in Atlanta, being that he’s “from Houston”. Nonetheless, I can see any hood fuckin with “100 racks” or some of his other collab songs that make him seem tough, but never , have I ever heard a drake song, that sounds like he wrote it from the ground up without other hands on deck, and tons of head nods from a crew of people he pays money to hang out and protect him which he quickly refers to as “his crew”<—–this makes me laugh, as this "crew" was absent in Philadelphia when Meeks affiliates were trying to expose the panties that everyone from the hood knows this dude Drake wears, "crew" included.

I digress, but Jay Z, goes into the booth alone, most times without pen and pad, and comes out with platinum, every…single…time… Competes with his wife for Grammys because even old white men nod their head to his realness…I'm just giving praise, where no one else seems to be…

          • yea man you make all valid points, can’t disagree with much you said there.

but I mean man realistically there is no comparison of jay to drake. not on any real level, unless you just want to say sales and being at the top of the game. he’ll always be on the rap rushmore. it’s like deion sanders always say, you can’t compare a moment to a monument.

but it’s just that on a long enough timeline young ppl always forget what the ppl who came before their ppl did. it’s like when ppl try to say kobe is better than jordan, like man anybody who saw them both play in their primes will tell you kobe is still a very, very distant second. even after trying to copy all jordan moves. but you can’t tell some ppl that’s it’s not a real contest, they are too stuck to their guns. that’s why I say, the cold war between them is kind of silly because ppl who really know the real won’t even entertain it, but the younger generation wasn’t in the moment when jay was goin nuts so they gonna side wit drake smh.

          • Dave

You seem like a cool ass dude man.. I come off a bit frustrated on some of these headlines on this website, but my real anger starts when i see some of the ridiculous comments regarding hip hop.

My Aunt handed me hard knock life vol.2 when i was a lil kid, and that shit changed my life dude. I dress a certain way, walk a certain way, talk a certain way, because of music like that album.

My gf’s 9 year old lil brother was in the car with us the other day, and the kid is wicked smart, knows how to dance, the whole nine. I asked him “whats your favorite song bro, what artists you like?” This dude said i really like Desiigner, timmy turner.

Needless to say, i killed him, RIP.
Jk, but i did want to choke the 1 ounce of unbelievable stupidity that his brain is currently nurturing by welcoming such a talentless individual with open arms. I thought to myself, maybe, just maybe another JAY Z will pop up, or he will listen to kendrick and cole.. idk, but if the kids have no one to listen to but a bunch of lil 2016 mumble rappers, the world of hip hop is going to take a violent turn towards the bluegrass section in popularity at fye. Not to mention, is it really okay to be praising people like fetty wap, desiigner, future, migos, big sean, etc, as they get richer and jeep teaching these kids that its okay not to have intelligent lyrics/wordplay in their music?

P.s. i just listened to lil wayne the carter 3 again earlier, and have yet to hear anything that even holds a candle to that from the lil 2016 mumble rap generation…

            The youth is doomed imo

          • Allen Smith

Y’all niggas say the same shit from a different point of view, this argument is not necessary

        • Allen Smith

Y’all niggas saying the same shit from a different point of view, this argument is not necessary

          • not an argument to me, I thought true hip hop heads enjoyed having these kinda convos. at least they do where I’m from.

          • Allen Smith

They do but y’all are saying the sam thing

          • please tell me how what we are saying is the exact same thing, I’m curious to hear this.

          • Allen Smith

What them New York niggas say ” I ain’t gone hold you” my nigga idek both of y’all niggas was right and wrong, I don’t have the patience to break the shit down I was really trying to get u niggas to stfu bcuz I was tired of scrolling down n reading that shit… how bow dahhh

          • damn, disqus has mandatory comment reading now?? or is there still the option to just scroll past shit you don’t want to read?

but either way allen, you could just admit that in the end, we weren’t saying the same thing from different viewpoints.

          • Herbz 4 Breakfast

Jesus, bro.. You are funny as hell, even funnier that what you’re saying is true

        • burk

You are wrong, Drake has a wider audience than 15 -20 demographic you stated

          • of course he does that’s why I said “drake fans that are 15-20 something” I’m talking about that group of his fans specifically. they make up the bulk of his listeners

    • Je’sus

They both suck for the last 5 years. Both irrelevant

  • will dodd

Nah its rick Ross. Ross just dropped a song called summer 17 and he’s the “boss”

    • Melo

My thoughts exactly. Rose just dropped that too.

    • FuckYaCommentB…

Idk about Dat. Hov & rozay are tight. I doubt it’s about Ross.

      • will dodd

Well both Drake and rozay don’t really gave a reason for jay to be mad at em, but the word boss makes me think Ross because drake never says nothing about being the boss. He’ll say six god or something. On iyrtitl he had on a song “besides ricky Ross Aubrey the biggest boss here” but that’s the only time. Even then ross had his voice on the song

        • FuckYaCommentB…

Drake may have given Hov reasons to send shots, But I don’t recall Rozay giving Hov a reason. Deez dudes done collaborated a good amount of times from Hustling remix, Fuckwithmeyouknowigotit, moving bass, free Mason & The devil is A lie. Excuse the “boss” word from Diz one. If anybody, he’s aiming at drake. Him & drake always had sum kinda fallen out going on. Think about it my guy.

  • Myleage

    reach much?

  • d1gord

It’s crazy how many people hate on Drake. But this dude still selling out shows, breaking records and dating the finest chicks. I’m not a fan, but I give credit where it’s due

  • P28

SHEEP! You are all SHEEP! BAHAHAHA!!!

  • thatsjas2 .

like i said somewhere else: Drake the only artist besides cam’ron that never bowed down or signed to roc nation so who else is Jay-Z gonna diss?

  • Jay is the king of subliminals

    • Dave

bro your keyboard accidentally put “Jay” where you typed “Drake”….god for the love of everything…don’t reply….just think Nas, Ja Rule, 50 cent, etc, and don’t reply.

Also, consider that drake has never seen a real beef in his life, meek mill included. Jay however, has, and has won most, lost some, but ended up still runnin this rap shit in 2017, album(s) coming soon, thought they really aren’t needed.

      • Bandino

        Dave, the keyboard Hero!

  • Young Flacko

All this arguing over these two mfs, whose beef ain’t even really beef. Everybody knows these niggas don’t actually dislike each other. Friendly banter bs. Bout as fake as the kendrick n drake subliminal war

  • Vuitton, The Ruler

    That shit wack af!

  • Worldwide Intentionz

Wait but Ross just dropped a track called Summer ’17….

  • Dave

Thank you…damn… we talking about two different breeds of men here …

1 is from the hood, near billionaire, HAS, and DOES go to the hood all the time, but to better the community. “purest form of giving is anonymous to anonymous, we gon make it there, I promise this”- Jay Z 2013. Also, this guy plays chess with the rap game, not checkers. Watch these fuckboy careers get ended on his new album(s)(Drake included).

You don’t have to expose each individual whack rapper. You simply create a platform that they cannot stand on, and watch them all struggle to reach for it, while they fall back into their over hyped youtube accounts, where they should have never been brought up from to the music labels that signed them in the first place.

The other, is from Canada(Toronto is not hood by any stretch of the imagination, sorry please try your call again), with a resume of acting, and singing, that plays checkers with his emotions. He’s more interested as to whether Meek dented Nickis pussy, than “running this rap shit”, as Jay would say.

    DRAKE has a GHOST WRITER… (a few)
JAYZ goes in the booth and doesnt write a line… unless he’s WRITING FOR OTHERS.
