To anyone born after 99 this just going to sound equivalent to a boyz 2 men reunion track ..the game has changed

You right, that’s a good ass point, but one thing you have to realize is that the “game” changes and it usually changes for the new generations, BUT this cd won’t be marketed toward the teenie bopper rap fans who like to whip and nae nae…This shit is for people my age like 25-35 who came up listening to these artists. Believe me if Boys II Men went on tour right now they would still sell out. They will just cater to THEIR fans you know?

Also, you look at the artists and think 1999 right? But you gotta realize is that Birdman IS really good at adapting to the changes in the rap game. Birdman honestly has had his hand in CHANGING the game to what it is now? He had cash money booming in 1999, he helped bring Drake and Nikki on the scene in 2009 (I know it was Wayne’s thing, but I’m talking about the Cash Money umbrella, they all were a part of it) He had a major hand in REALLY blowing up Young Thug, so yeah. I think he’ll be able to come out with some fly music..The one I’m honestly worried about is MANNIE……The production styles have REALLY changed and I’m wondering if his sound and style will be able to adapt. I wasn’t super impressed with no ceilings 2…

Er no. Drake and Nicki started in Young Money alone while Wayne was searching for artists to start up the label with. They eventually signed to Cash Money out of respect to Birdman(Since Birdman obligated Wayne for YMCMB to be a movement). Everyone else(Mack Maine, Tyga, Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda, Kidd Kidd, etc.) though were originally part of Cash Money and moved onto Young Money when Wayne started up the group and Birdman didn’t do shit for any of them. He was just lucky because Lil Wayne was highly respected and knew how to properly jock on his success. If it wasn’t for Lil Wayne, Birdman’s involvement in the game would just fade in the background like No Limit.

Oh and Gucci Mane was the one who helped blow up Young Thug with that collab mixtape, no Birdman.
