    • BigHomie

Lol why Juicy tho??? That was hella random

      • jurassicjrod

was perusing his most recent “mixtape”

        • Countryside

STFU Juicy J is on his album and supports Logic, he been in the game since the 90’s, who are you to judge someone that brought Memphis on the map and even won an oscar ?

          • jurassicjrod

            lol touché

          • jurassicjrod

u think Nas and Juicy J are both legends in the same stratosphere? making Memphis and winning an Oscar doesn’t equate to empowering your brothers, waking up the masses, and of course, ripping Jay Z a new asshole…..

          • Countryside

Rap is entertainement, wether you pretend empowering your brothers and etc or not, still everyone entertains and makes money, Juicy J has always been honest on what he did, and he really gives people motivation instead of shaming people and doing all the boring preeching bullshit some so called rappers do.
Dont put everything in the same place, that doesn’t make no sense.

          • jurassicjrod

            “rap is entertainment”
            you already lost
Juicy J motivates people to do what exactly…lick the clit? name one person who has taken Juicy J’s teachings and done something positive to affect the world/environment around him
that’s the problem inherent in ur argument — the world never was is or has been just a playground
            we all r losing

          • Countryside

keep your opinion for yourself, Juicy J and Future help me waking up in the morning and work my ass off to get out the mud, way more than all these rap genius trying to keep people sobbering on the world fate.

          • jurassicjrod

lol ok but if you think Juicy J and Future are more impactful than Nas then u rleady don’t know what the conversation is in the first place
            to each his own
but obvi if you need the messages they send to wake up and work ur ass off then what r u doing all day??
anyway, ur opinion is as moot as mine we r commenting on HHE i can spout my opinion to kingdom cum

          • Jeffrey

you are def trolling lol. but no forreal Nas-Black Zombies is prolly one of the most realest songs ever.

          • jurassicjrod

i’m not trolling u named urself after Young Thug tho? cool bruh
of course Nas is an ultimate champion
Juicy J isn’t nowhere near his level there is no discussion about that they are different sectors of rap entirely

          • jurassicjrod

who isn’t trolling these message boards bruh?

      • d1gord

        HELLA

    • SloanTheDon

      Juicy J is a legend, you’re slippin

      • jurassicjrod

Juicy J is a legend of crap rap
        i aint slippin
juicy j never gonna cure inequality
his rap is for the trap it is utter crap
enjoy his music if your brain is that low

        • Zay

          You hating for no reason…

Juicy J feeding his family and others

You don’t like him dont listen or talk about him

Or if it’s on your mind say whatever you mind

          Lol

          • jurassicjrod

this isn’t about him feeding his fam…good point tho

          • Zay

you can rap about doing good and that right shit but that don’t mean you live
Idk about Nas but I know Juicy live it

        • d1gord

Nas said dick riding is not a form of transportation sir

          • jurassicjrod

even if i’m the best at it?

          • d1gord

            Legendary dick rider?

          • jurassicjrod

if what u all keep sayin about me is true
            (bats eyelashes)

        • Zay

no raps are gonna cure inequality man
people been rapping about that for decades and aint shit changed like it should’ve

          • jurassicjrod

gotta start sometime somewhere and with someone(s)

        • NYCityKid

Ur a troll. Like u said who isn’t trolling these days. U have no way to calculate Nas’ impact on inequality yet you talk as if it’s a fact his music has changed the lives of black ppl. Matter of fact, Nas made a lot of nigga shit too, and nuff niggas I know still roll dutches and drink Henny straight on sum Nas nigga shit. At the end of the day your still just a fan entertained by what entertains you. And closed minded as a devout Christian. No disrespect to them.

          • jurassicjrod

no doubt he has done more than Juicy…this site is a troll on hip hop….

          • NYCityKid

Again, no way of tracking that. Wasn’t JJ handing out scholarships a few years ago? Lol

          • jurassicjrod

what rich guy doesn’t try to give back…i’m sure you could find me good things that wacko flacko or souldier creambro have done

          • NYCityKid

Word. I’m not even an old JJ fan I started seein who he was thru Wiz

          • jurassicjrod

close minded? nah… i know my own stance, but like u said, u just a fan entertained by what entertains you
so what i’m judging is what entertains the listener, not necessarily the artist….

          • NYCityKid

Wtf are you talking about? Who’s talking about what entertains the artist? I’m talking about you shittin on Juicy J as if he’s not one of the greats. One of the greatest hiphop entertainers to ever make music.

          • jurassicjrod

            bye

        • SloanTheDon

whas that soposed to be a rap or something lol

          • jurassicjrod

not at all….rhyming is part of the English language, it often makes sentences flow and sound better…y would i waste a rap on u

          • SloanTheDon

            lol

          • jurassicjrod

keep grammar out of this….they are just…a sort of…guidelines….not….rules

          • SloanTheDon

            Sure. Have fun.

    • Zay

      Why disrespect Juicy J??
He a legend with three 6

      • jurassicjrod

not all legends are created equally

        • Zay

I just feel like that was hellah random
Im from Memphis and the man gives back so what you talking about

          • jurassicjrod

at least he tryin u right

      • jurassicjrod

u think Nas and Juicy J are both legends in the same stratosphere? making Memphis and winning an Oscar doesn’t equate to empowering your brothers, waking up the masses, and of course, ripping Jay Z a new asshole….

        • Zay

Lol why the random ass comparison
Nas didnt awake nobody i know and we all intelligent
He just choose conscious rap and was successful at a mainstream level

          • jurassicjrod

why shouldn’t everything be conscious? life isn’t a party
            that’s my point
            nothing is random
this is why in 2017 someone like Juicy J still has clout
cause you think i’m just making a random ass comparison

          • Zay

Life is a mixture of everything that’s why we have some many sub-genres of hip hop

Juicy J has made heart warming songs too but the bulk of his music is that gangsta shit cuz he grew up around pimpin, drugs and hood shit

          • jurassicjrod

tru environment education and parenting shapes the world we then keep creating
its too bad tho because to keep rapping about that gangsta shit is what keeps flooding the street with gangsta shit…vicious cycle cause like you said in a lower reply, life ain’t easy…..but things that Juicy J does, things that you call “living”…that’s not living to others (nor is it good enough to just call them luxuries…)

  • Astronaut

Is logic a tier 1 rapper? Ima say Tier 2.5

    • jurassicjrod

if you are educated, you know logic is a tier 1 rapper

      • Astronaut

You went straight to being disrespectful huh. Kick rocks. The only reason i said 2.5 because theres people who’ve been doing it a lil longer than him. 2 me his turn is coming. I say this because the general public heard of him but he wasnt on they play list, mow after this album he’s more known to the general public. He has done numbers tho but sure his next album will do more.

        • jurassicjrod

well my comment wasn’t even personal …. didn’t see how u might read that…my bad
          i agree with ur response…glad u explained the 2.5

i def can see that, tho i guess i thought that logic already hit mainstream over last summer…
but def hear u on that

          • Astronaut

I mean he was out there to us lyrical ones but not necessarily to the trap ones. He’s opening peoples eyes and thats why I think there were such a dramatic increase in sales.

          • jurassicjrod

mos def…….people like cole kendrick logic (and if only people could get on Oddisee finally) can only preach the right words so much
the majority of these HHE readers seem to me like they will never have the mind power to even think
but obvi seeing logic come on the main radar finally gives me hope

just need Nas to deliver finally and maybe we can finally create some momentum….but unlikely, when the majority of people still will only care about smashing Amber Rose or when artists like Travis Scott actually exist

          • jurassicjrod

(it ain’t like we all don’t listen to Juicy J or Travis Scott but if you deep down don’t understand how baseless their music is then that’s when you to the root of the problem)

          • Astronaut

Cant lie dont have the slightest idea who Oddisee is. You must have just joined the crew or something. You got serious news and bs news, you got serious people and people who bs and everything in between. Lol dont take everything to heart. You’ll know who to take serious.

          • jurassicjrod

            check Oddisee’s bandcamp
your entire mind body and soul will thank you
he is from DC….he is mos def an underrated musician, rapper, producer, and overall just a good person (to be listening to)….he is a good mix of a strong message and stronger music

          • Astronaut

Damn. Theres a shiit ton of music. Its gone be a minute for me to sample though.

          • jurassicjrod

Oddisee is THE guy if only people weren’t obsessed with image
but hopefully this wave of Chance Cole Kendrick Bada$$ Nehru etc. can keep pushing the fold….Oddisee just needs to get heard by the right people i guess (just like everyone)…..
yea man, enjoy….Oddisee has released so much, between his raps, productions, etc….he is a lot like Blu, only a bit more poignant and consistent in his overall image/message

          • jurassicjrod

he and Blu are similar in that they both are very hands on with their music (their styles and lyrcis are obvi on different ends of the spectrum)

          • Astronaut

To me i feel like im listening to Lecrae in a sense when I listen 2 em. Theres definitely some tracks i know for a fact id listen 2 on a daily and theres some i wouldnt, but its like that for everybody. For me as long as someone is being authentic to themselves and i can vibe 2 it depending on what mental mood im in i can dig it. Like Lecrae tho, he keeps his lyrocs clean and i like that, judging from the songs i heard

          • jurassicjrod

intention is a big part of music that we don’t talk about
            if we did
yachty and such really would be considered “businessmen” as Joe B said in that interview (or something to the like)
but that’s another discussion for another time
Oddisee’s 2 albums are FIRE…his instrumental albums are just so vast, and when he raps over his own beats you can really tell how much he understands about sound and about musical control
            lecrae dope tho

        • NYCityKid

You know the average person is not listening to no Logic bro. Foh. He got a cult fan base that’s it. And he’s white, and playing the sympathy card in interviews. Lol. I’m sorry.

          • Astronaut

            Give it time bra

          • The Incredible

            He’s mixed fam. mixed.

          • NYCityKid

Hahahahaha my bad. Black ppl don’t claim him. To most he’s still a cac

  • Great album honestly

    • SlimJuve25

bet you was high af at the time only way

      • Nah it’s honestly a great cd he talks from his point of view on a lot of things being mixed etc I equliies religion etc I guess since he not likeable like cole and Kendrick preppie gone hate or cause he don’t look as black as Kendrick I guess
